and grants in areas such as good governance economic development and social action, performing regular needs assessments, drafting donor and internal reports, providing input into regional fundraising and outreach activities; organizing training and other events.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree plus strong experience in development field/ Master degree in western country will be preferable; minimum 3 years of relevant program management, including project design, proposal writing, grant-making or implementing. Previous experience working with international donor organizations and managing donor-funded civil society projects (USAID, EU, and other donors). Excellent managerial, interpersonal and networking skills, as well as the ability to maintain professional contacts with government and diplomatic officials.
Fluency in Romanian, English and Russian is required.
Strong candidates will also have some experience in organizational development and nonprofit management, leading trainings and workshops, working with or in the Moldovan government and work or education experience abroad.
